The
Bob Marshall Wilderness Ranch provides a gorgeous lodge nestled between the
Mission Mountain Wilderness and the Bob Marshall Wilderness, in the heart of the
Swan Valley. Although our lodge is very remotely located, being surrounded on
all sides, but one, by Forest Service land, it is only a few miles from a state
highway, affording easy accessibility. Our lodge is located 21 miles North of
Seeley Lake, Montana on State Highway #83.
We constructed the lodge on a hillside which overlooks the beautiful Swan Valley. From the expansive windows of the lodge the view is breathtaking and gives the impression that you are deep in the heart of the wilderness. Whether relaxing out on the main deck or from within, the view encompasses the magnificent Swan Mountain Range to the East, the glacier peaks of the rugged Mission Mountain Range to the West, and the expansive Swan Valley below. It is truly a spectacular setting for the best mountain gawking in Montana.
You
will appreciate the beauty and wildness of the area, offering the ultimate in
scenery and solitude. You will be impressed by the first class table set offered
to our guests, as well as the utmost in warm, personal accommodations. We serve
hearty, tasty meals ranch style and will do everything possible to assure your
visit with us is a memorable experience.
The
lodge is available for business or family retreats, horseback riding, sightseeing,
photography, cross country skiing, snow mobiling, horse drawn sleigh rides, or
just getting away from it all. It is a wonderful place to relax around the fire
while looking out at some of the most beautiful country imaginable.
Our horses are well trained, sure-footed mountain trail horses. Our guides are skilled professionals who make that special effort to assure your ride will be a wonderful mountain experience. During the winter we schedule cross country skiing and snow mobiling retreats. There are numerous mountain logging roads, which have long since been closed to automobile traffic, that offer some of the best conditions you will ever find for these winter activities.

We do schedule these group activities by
reservation, however we would always be willing to accomodate last minute requests
if we have the space available. We furnish all but your personal gear and provide
hearty, tasty meals served ranch style. The cost of our lodge
retreat is $145 per person per day. We will be happy to design a retreat based
